Our Counselors & Staff

ELCCC counselors and staff seek to build an alliance with clients to promote health, growth and holistic well-being. We have several counselors who meet with children, adolescents, and adults. Our counselors are all Christians and involved in their own local church. All counselors are contractors and not salaried employees. That means if you make an appointment, please keep it. Counselors Needed

We are currently looking to add some new faces to our growing team in McDonough, and Covington, GA. The right candidate:

1. Will agree with our Mission and Vision.

2. Will agree with our Statement of Faith.

3. Will be fully licensed or license eligible in Georgia as either an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or Psychologist.

4. In addition, we are looking for 1 or 2 folks who are also certified as a Registered Play Therapist or nearly completed their RPT certification.

5. Be able to develop safe, therapeutic relationships with clients that engage them and bring them back.

6. Is already on insurance panels, or willing to apply to panels with our assistance.

7. Has attended Strategic Trauma and Abuse Recovery© (STAR) training and actively using STAR is a plus. Interested in being trained and supervised in STAR is acceptable.

At ELCCC, we hire people, not positions. We work as a team and meet weekly for encouragement, prayer, and fun. We see ourselves as a ministry first and attempt to take all of the folks who are referred to us. However, we must turn many people away who want to use their insurance because the demand outweighs our supply.

Full and part-time positions are available. These are contract positions with no benefits currently.
